What is FA In Arts?

The word FA stands for “Factuality in Arts”. FA in Arts is the qualification in Humanities. This Term Mostly used in Pakistan in BISE (Board of Intermediate and Secondary) Education. FA arts is also called Simple FA. This Program Comes After Completing the Education of Matriculation. FA Intermediate is about to two year Degree program and offered practically in all Colleges of Pakistan. FA intermediate program is quite different from FSC Pre-medical, ICS computer science, and other more intermediate Programmes. FA is the Beginning move towards the field of Arts and for the individuals who expect to turn into government sectors. With a great range of subjects, it’s widely chosen by students who want a career in fine arts, humanities, and social sciences.

Faculty of Arts is the most popular HSSC level program in Pakistan. One of the first and suitable steps is to take admission in bachelors of Arts (BA). Generally, in Pakistan people do not consider FA a very good degree as compared to other popular subjects like FSc Pre Medical, FSc Pre engineering and etc. Such people may not have any ideas about the value of the FA degree and huge career opportunities in Pakistan.

Basically, it Depends on students’ own interests Students who want to become artists, lawyers, journalists, psychiatrists, politicians, historians, musicians, philosophers, mathematicians, and government servants should opt FA (Faculty of Arts) option after matriculation. Eligibility Criteria:

For Intermediate Applicant must be a Citizen of Pakistan/AJ&k. They should be in between 18 to 23 years to get enrolled in undergraduate Programs

FA Arts subjects list

There are lots of subjects in FA. Many Colleges and Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education have limitations for choosing FA subjects. There are 6 subjects the students of 1st-year arts study. The three subjects are compulsory and the three are elective subjects. Students can choose the elective subjects of their own choice. Pakistan People think FA degree has no future. The truth is that Many Pakistan government civil officers did simple FA and now are in the position of 15 to 21 in government sectors. The duration of the FA in Arts program is two years. The BISE conducts terminal examinations for 1st year and 2nd year separately.

DURATION

The Duration of FA program is about 2 years. The Boards of Intermediate and secondary education conducts FA Exams separately as a Part 1 in 1st year and Part 2 in 2nd year separately.

Most students arise question can we do FA Course in 1 year separately? The answer is no you can not attempt FA 1st year and 2nd year exams in one year. Two years time period is compulsory to be eligible for for Passing FA.
